Nitrate hot-working mandrels are used to work in die-cast molds.

The hardness of their tips is the same as that of cutting mandrels, and to improve their performance, they are 45 Rockwell.

And the hardness of their body is 60 Rockwell or 950 Vickers.

They are covered with a layer or so called nitrated to increase their resistance to heat.

These mandrels withstand temperatures up to 700 degrees Celsius

They are divided into 2 categories: silver (2C) and all black (NL) and are available in sizes 2 to 20.
